Worth linking to; sixmegapixels explains why having a more than six megapixels on a compact digital camera is not just a bad idea, they actually produce lower quality (as in more digital noise lower quality) photos . (Via Daring Fireball.)
I do spray a few random thoughts now and again over at twitter … twitter.com/blanco

Rant over thank you for listening.
I’ve enrolled with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training summer session to train for the century (100 mile) bike ride around Lake Tahoe this upcoming June.
Please consider donating support my participation in Team In Training and help advance the Society’s mission. 75% of all proceeds raised go to actual use by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for patient services, research, etc.
Please leave me a comment if you have any questions and I’ll update this post with the answer.
Here’s Wikipedia’s entry on Team in Training.
Update Q & A:
Q: Have I ever ridden this far before?
A: No, I’ve done a 50 mile ride that took 10 miles to get to - so I’ve done 70 miles in a day. That was a relatively flat ride at sea level. The Tahoe ride is in between 6200 and 7100 feet above sea level with quite a few hills, it will definitely be a challenge for me.
Well I’m happy to report that yet another successful Textpattern site has been launched.
My buddy Mark Berry has finished his novel and he needed a website to promote and sell his book. Pushing Leaves Towars the Sun has been launched and like I did with Focal Point Wellness Center, a Textpattern backend with a heavily modified template was all that was needed to get he job done. Once Mark learned ow to edit and create ‘articles’ or I as like to say manage the content, I was left to making sure everything else was working.
So if your looking for something to read, the 1st three chapters are available online, so give it a shot. Oh yeah, he’s looking for a publisher too.

I’ve gotten a few hits from google with Dramagods as a search query. So I figured that I should do a quick show report.
The band went on promptly, around 8:20ish and played for approximately 75 minutes. They did not have a lot of space on stage (opening up for Disturbed), there were a few technical things going on but, overall it was a strong performance. The audience was very receptive the new songs.
Here’s the set list to the best of my recollection:
Nice to meet you (solo section was extended)
Megaton
S’Ok
Interface
Fearless Leader
Midnight Express
No regrets
Lockdown
Pilots
Exit
