Why when I’m running my powerbook with 802.11b AirPort networking with Apple’s “yo-yo” power supply do people watching me invariably think that I’m using the “yo-yo” for my connectivity?

I’m thinking about a whole new blog re-design/purpose. I guess i might want to re-think tools as well. Right now It’s Radio Userland 7.0.1, but I’m ready to give consideration to Blogger or writing my own in PHP/MySQL. What does James Spahr use?
With my Radio Userland setup as it is right now, if I’m without my powerbook or connectivity for it, I’m out of luck. I’d also like to add non-blog pages to the site within the same template.
FYI - The Sheraton Kaua’i has high speed internet access to the machines connected in the “Library”. No 802.11b. No Hi-Bandwidth available in the rooms (as of Nov 2001). An excellent Hotel/Resort none-the-less.
One more thing. The rooms at the Fairmont Vancouver Airport Hotel have free high speed ‘net access in addation to free 802.11b at the lobby bar - very nice. The hotel itself is great as well. Highly recommended.
Today was an “extra” day in Vancouver, BC. Nice city, too bad I packed mostly surf shorts and aloaha shirts.
