I’ve had uControl installed for a few days now, and I wouldn’t want to work on a powerbook without it at this point. While its main function (re-maping the caps lock key) isn’t that important to me, some of the "lesser" options are. Real Function Keys, Power Delete and Trackpad scrolling make this another must install for mobile OS X users.

Classic feature emulator X-Assist (free) looks very cool, although I still really do like ASM (now shareware).
I had been looking for this for a while. Macromedia - Dreamweaver TechNotes: Creating an SSH tunnel for secure authentication (Macintosh)
I just sent my Pismo into a 3 foot vertical descent. It appears as if only the right expansion (CD/DVD) bay door eject arm sustained minor damage. Everything appears to function as well as it did pre-fall. In a completely unreleated event, the site layout has switched positions for content and navagation. (Navagation is on the right now)
Once again an illegal character in my rss file (caused by Radio Userland not rendering macros in rss files) has wrought havoc on rss agrigators everywhere, it should be fixed now.
Jaguar on a Pismo? is a question/comment thread (83 at the time of this posting) on O’Grady’s powerpage, where Pismo owners are sharing their thoughts and tips on running 10.2 on their Powerbook 2000. The common theme running through the tread is Get a larger Hard drive and throw as much RAM at it as you can. My (actually Samson’s) Pismo 400 has a 12GB HD and 384MB of RAM and is screaming for more of both, hopefully I can squeak some throught the current budgetary restrictions. Some posters make reference to an ATI RageLTPro patch (located here ) to get improved video performance, but the patch was written for Lombards and Wallstreets - not Pismo’s which have a RageM3p, pass on this if you’ve got a Pismo.
