Trying out Archipelago & Launchbar

I’m trying out two new apps:

  • The first is an app called Archipelago that allows you to post to most blogs (that support the Blogger API and/or MetaWeblog API) in a real mac editing enviornment. I’ve use it for this and the previous post with great joy.
  • The second is called Launchbar. It’s been out for a while, everone been raving about it, i’m just beging to explore its posibilities and so far I like what it does. What does it do you say? It provides very fast keyboad access to all the apps on your hard drive as well as urls. I’ll report more as I give it a whirl in a production enviornment when I return to the office tomorrow.

Enjoying Rands

I’m particularly enjoying Rands in Repose. Rand’s got a fun, informative writing style (check out his thoughs on Vegas) and he’s a switcher. I’ve added him (as well as chaotic intransient prose bursts - also know as kung-foo.tv) to my blogroll.
