Spring is finally here in New York - Well, Not Really.

That’s right, Mother Nature dropped several inches of the white stuff on us today. Hard to imagine that it was almost 80 degrees two weeks ago (back in March). Luckily I got a weeks worth of coffee roasting done outside yesterday when temperatures were close to 60.

Snow Driving on Long Island brings out all kinds of personality traits, but my two favorites are:

  1. The Soccer Mom in her SUV who plows though the wet stuff at a blistering 12 miles per hour.
  2. Mr. Brand New Hummer H2 (in canary yellow no less) to whom the laws of Physics just don’t apply. (This is the opposite case of above, he’ll fly thru the busiest of residential intersections at a cool 65MPH and then try to stop on a dime — in slush!)

Whoa - Apple intros new stuff on Sunday?!?

Today, Apple’s front page displays three new (software) products/updates. DVD Studio Pro 2, Final Cut Pro 4 and Shake 3. These three new products plus logic form Apple’s new Pro Digital Production Suite. These products are aparently part of Apple’s NAB show introductions.
