Apple released iTunes 4.0.1 this afternoon, It addresses a few issues while at the same time crippling the "share-anywhere" feature that was available to users of the 4.0 version. What does this mean to you? You wont be able to listen to (or download as some utilities allow) other peoples libraries unless they’re on the same LAN as you are (and vice-versa).
Adobe Released its newly updated Acrobat suite of Applications. I’ve only been able to play with the new Reader 6.0 for a few minutes, and I can say I was pleasantly surprised that it supports Long FIle Names in Mac OS X. It still allows viewing of native Adobe Illustrator 10 (and greater?) files. And the updated interface doesn’t seem like it will take too much getting used to. One gripe, there are WAY TOO MANY BUTTONS to accidently click on the toolbar that can take you to places you do not want to go (i.e. sites that try to sell you on the pay for versions of Acrobat or sell you e-books).
According to weather.com, except for tonight and tomorrow, It’s gonna be real wet for the next 10 days. Looks like the the Memorial Day BBQs are going to be held indoors.

I’ve recovered from yet another HD crash. I’ve been lucky enough to recover almost everthing and this post verifies that “Radio” is in fact working. The MySQL databases restored successfully along with crucial configuration files. Time to start thinking about a backup for my backup.
How can you actually like a spam, we’ll to be honest I haven’t even opened up this email, but you’ve got to appreciate the absolute tenacity of sending an unsolicited email in with a subject line of:

I’m almost done getting rid of the TABLE tags from the site, only a few remain. The calendar TABLE is the only one I expect to remain (it’s tabular data folks), unless I get rid of the calendar all together.
In addition to adding to and updating the existing buttons on the right side of the screen, clearly there was a need for more buttons. Niether NewNewsWire nor Radio Userland had one of these nifty 80 x 15 pixel non-screen-real-estate-hogging web badges represented or ready for easy deployment. A quick trip to Photoshop solved that. If you feel they suck, by all means feel free to make your own. Brent, Dave no offense intended.
If you haven’t seen the Star Wars kid yet, go to waxy.org right now. Be sure to check out the ‘raw’ version first. [link courtesy of rands]
