I got the results of the MRI today. (Actually I didn’t get the results, my Orthopedist did, the patient isn’t allowed to get the results directly from the Radiologist who reads the MRI.) I’ve got some torn cartilage behind my knee cap. I can either ignore the pain or get ‘scoped. Something to think about.

I’ve been having intermitant knee pain for a while now, an intense sharp stabbing pain that comes and goes. It started bothering me in the beginning of the year with a pain occurance every other week. The frequency of the pain then rampped up to once a week, twice a week, every other day. At that point I decided it’s time to see a doctor. The frequency was several times a day on Monday when I saw my orthopedist and got an x-ray that showed no irregularities. My MRI yesyterday was uneventful. Today the pain is more intense and more frequent than ever. I won’t get my MRI results back until Monday.
